How to edit a GPX file

  1. Open the GPX file. Track, elevation profile and key figures appear instantly.
  2. Trim: drag across the section you want to keep in the elevation profile, or enter start and end in kilometres.
  3. Privacy zone: choose a radius – all points within it around start and finish are removed.
  4. More edits: reverse direction, remove timestamps, remove waypoints. Every step can be undone.
  5. Download the edited file as GPX, FIT, KML or another format.

Why remove timestamps?

A recorded GPX file reveals when you were where – and often where you live. Before sharing a track publicly, remove the timestamps and set a privacy zone of 200–500 m around start and finish.
